Last Week at a Glance..
haha.. i'm updating my blog at last! much to the delight of michelle and dorcas! hehe.. well last week was a busy roller coaster week for me.. those who were with me last week would testify to it.. anyway before i begin, SNOW DVD is coming out on the 9th July!!! Woohoo!! its $8! so go grab it! hehe
okie well last week, the SPD choir had our choir retreat from wed to fri. it was held in Tanah Merah Safra or NSRCC bungalow! the place is so cool man! 21 of us were there.. it was really a time where everyone of us, new or old ones, gel together and really spend time together and with God too! everything went out as plan except maybe the BBQ fire but all thanks to meiling, raquel, andy and the toilet paper.. hehe.. the games were very reflective and relevant. Esp the circle game when we played that. Taught me that unity in the choir is based upon encouragements, prayers and tears of compassion for each other.. and a helping hand too.. the night services were so so so refreshing.. everyone would testify that God was there.. from the first service, everyones' hearts were crying out to God. really a breakthrough.. I did the first night's sermon.. shared about "what is worship to you?".. really believe God was speaking thru me.. cause half the time i wasn't speaking what i've written on the paper.. i learned something too! the ministry period was good too.. the second night after the bbq Pastor Sam came and did the sermon sharing.. He talked about going beyond the veil.. so true.. we have to go beyond the veil.. pass the outer courts of our lives, our troubles and problems and really surrendering it all to Him. No excess baggage at all.. even surrendering the stains in our lives.. we had a good time praising the Lord with songs, surrendering ourselves and praying for each other too! I truly enjoyed myself through out the retreat.. it was wonderful! I thank God for everything.. well most of us didn't sleep well though but we were refreshed in the spirit.. everyone..
but before the retreat i met some trouble though.. i won't say it out cause it doesn't glorify God but i wanna thank God for rescuing me out of this situation and the prayers of everyone who prayed for me.. and for Pastor Sam too who helped me.. words couldn't express how grateful i am to God but with my praises i'll lift it up to Him.. hehe.. last sunday SPeedlight was good too.. but a pity that time wasn't on our side.. as always.. but its not the time that matters cause God is not contained within this time capsule we're in.. but by the space of our hearts.. throughout the praise and worship, i knew it was the Holy Spirit leading and not me.. the flow was very smooth and can really feel God's presence.. we're singing the song "You Are A Holy God". hehe top 10 hit in SPD charts now! hehe.. that song really is a song that really allows everyone to focus and cry out to God. I pray that SPD will continue to follow Christ and not wander around in the wilderness anymore.. its time to arise people! the time has come! Awake and arise!

A song that we sung recently in passion, leaders meeting and the choir retreat.. a song that the Lord gave me and taught me that it is not the words but the heart that matters to Him.. only nine words but its such a powerful song.. three lines but it allows the heart to cry and surrender to the King. A humbling song that taught me about the heart of worship.. I thank God for putting this song into my heart.. thank You!
