Home Alone!

ARgHhhH!!! i'm home alone! last sat i send my parents off to the airport as they embarked on their two weeks holiday in bangkok! hehe.. sigh too bad i can't join them cause i got to settle some army stuff and dun think i can take such a long oversea leave.. sob sob.. being all alone at home is no fun.. though can get just that tiny bit of freedom i prefer to have my lovely parents here with me.. haha.. night time is super quiet! only the sound of the keyboard can be heard.. or sometimes the tv only.. and i'm lonely! *singing* "lonely.. i am so lonely.. i have nobody... on my own.. own(one octave up).." haha..

well today went to watch a movie alone.. haha so sad right? hehe.. went to watch GOAL! good show! but too bad only soccer pple can appreciate the show.. hehe.. after that decided to meet Lijia and Linda for dinner cause they were already outside together.. but before i met them while waiting for them i ended buying a $129 jacket! Argh! what's happening to me? i was just walking around Marina Square to kill time, ended up in X2 shop and saw this jacket! but this jacket was more casual than the other two that i have.. but i can be forgiven.. cause i seldom buy clothes for myself.. i think it was only last year that i last bought clothes for myself.. haha.. so basically i've been wearing the same clothes every sunday.. hehe.. and come to think of it.. it was exactly one year ago that i bought my previous jacket! what a coincidence!? got to start saving brother! hehe.. then met Jia and Linda for dinner at swensons bugis.. was fun and enjoyed the dinner..

gonna wash my clothes now and mop the floor tml.. i'll be a part time house husband till my mummy comes back! Lord grant them journey mercy and divine safety wherever they go!

how's life? better than army! hehe.. though i think my brain's getting rusty a bit but not that bad.. hehe.. been busy thru this week.. and i went for my driving lesson again after 3 months break! thank God everything went out well... I DIDN'T STALL THE CAR!!! woohoo! parking was fine too! thank GOd i remembered how to vertical and parrallel park the car..

today, Bryne came over to my place.. watched DVD from Christian City Church! they rock man! and we jammed a little at my place before both of us met Rey and Girlie for dinner.. dinner was fun and its really great talking to Rey and Girlie.. rey talked about how he first started out in a band.. how they first 'made' their drumsets and guitars! really amazing! then we talked about church minsitry, music and singing! learned alot from Rey and Girlie! and they are so humble before God! that's one thing i've always catch it when i talk to them.. their humility before God.. their humbleness and reverance for the Almighty God whom they serve.. i really learn alot from them.. really thank God for them! esp for rey for guiding me thru the music and teaching me as we both serve for God in the MS and main services..

have been playing some of my old games.. haha.. Caesar III!! cool game where you are the governor or mayor.. something like Sim City where you build your own city but this one is in the Roman period.. before christ was born.. pretty challenging as you have to meet to the numerous demands of the people! pretty much like being a god in a sense.. but thru this game allowed me to realise that IT'S NOT EASY BEING GOD! or even in PAP.. haha.. its not easy being a pastor too or a leader where you have to meet to the people's needs and demands.. as for God.. thank God he is so gracious! sometimes we just keep demanding this and that from God.. asking Him for this and that and then blaming Him if we dun get it.. but have we ever ask God what does he want? have we ever meet God's needs? sometimes all God needs is our attention, our praise, our worship, our prayers our time and also our ears! are we there for God too? hmmm.. food for thoughts and reflections too for ourselves.. Let's give ourselves to Him.. our hearts, our soul, our lives and even our plans.. Amen...

Its A Happy Day.. And I Thank God..

Its thanks giving time! Woohoo! haha.. anyway just wanna send this post to thank God for the weekends.. Saturday was exciting and tiring.. in the morning went for the choir prac for the musical.. thank God everything went out smooth.. though some couldn't attend the prac, we managed to finish learning the first song with the parts and all the timings.. was fun though it was early in the morning and some were still in LALA land.. haha.. then after lurch with the choir pple headed straight down to woodlands for the MS prac.. MS was very good! the worship was incredible! esp during the song "still".. everyone just sang their hearts out and the presence of God was thick.. i just closed my eyes and get soaked in His presence.. after the Praise and Worship I just knew that something great is gonna happen cause can really feel God's presence there... Sunday! well sunday recently isn't really a "Sun"day.. haha.. it seems like every sunday its raining! hehe.. but still wanna thank God for the weather.. i think rain is such a beautiful weather to have.. Singing in the rain! well it rained today.. but the weather was cool.. didn't really get wet cause we had a umbrella bazaar outside the car porch.. haha.. we "koop" some umbrellas.. Speedlight service was encouraging.. encouraging to see many youths coming to the alter really wanting to have a breakthrough.. could see it in their eyes.. some of them kneeling down face down.. what a humbling sight to see.. Prac was good.. things happened in quite an orderly manner i would say.. dinner.. yes dinner.. for the third consecutive time we went to MOS burger.. haha.. cause we couldn't find any seats at the newly renovated food court! and starbucks as usually.. had a good time talking with the musicians as we discuss about our music.. thank God for all these!

just some update.. i'm a full time couch potato now.. haha.. together with my mom.. recently just got our cable tv so been watching those drama serials and LIVERPOOL matches!!
